Press Release Body: Peak District hotel and restaurant, The Maynard, announces the

and entertaining set from one of the best imitations of Sweden's finest pop quartet.

outlandish costumes and full-on Swedish accents!

The event is being organised in partnership with South Yorkshire Entertainment.
Tickets are available by telephoning 0114 252 1288.

Paul Downing, director at The Maynard, is looking forward to ABBA Revival being the
first act to play in the newly refurbished ballroom: "We've heard great things about
ABBA Revival and there's already an air of anticipation around the place. It is
likely to be an extraordinary evening, with the ballroom transformed into a 70s
nightclub with ABBA strutting their stuff. We can't wait, and we've already had
ticket enquiries before we even started to market the event, which is a great sign.

"The ballroom at The Maynard is a fantastic asset and is much underutilised between
weddings and business functions. Hence, we are now embarking on a series of planned
events for the rest of the year that will offer people a brilliant night out without
breaking the bank. We're in the process of looking at other crowd-pulling acts and
hope to announce further details soon of Maynard events for July and beyond."

The Maynard's new boutique hotel rooms are now open, and with the hotel recently
awarded 2 AA rosettes and a high AA rating, The Maynard has undergone somewhat of a
'revival' itself.

"We had always planned to return The Maynard to its former glory", said Paul Downing
"as a busy hotel and restaurant serving the local community, as well as attracting
tourists from further afield. Fingers crossed that our recent major investment seems
to be paying off, as the feedback we are getting each and every day from customers
is that the formula is right, " he added.
